Water Lines on Buckeye Properties

Buckeye lots tend to be larger than in older parts of the Valley, and rural properties can be much larger. That often means long water service lines from the meter, or from a private well, to the house.

Long buried lines have more places to fail. Settling, rocks, roots and yard projects can all damage them. When a long line develops a leak, the first sign may be a soggy spot far from the house, a higher bill, or a well pump that runs more than it should.

We locate the problem first, then repair the damaged section or replace the line.

Well Lines and Pressure Tanks

On well properties, the line from the well to the house, and the connection at the pressure tank, are part of the plumbing we can repair. A leak in that line makes the pump cycle more and can raise your electric bill.

For the well pump itself, we can recommend a well specialist. For the lines, fittings and connections to the house, we handle it.

Newer Homes and Partial Repipes

Newer Buckeye homes in Verrado, Sundance and similar communities use PEX or CPVC. Full repipes are rarely needed, but partial repipes make sense when a type of fitting keeps failing, when slab lines leak repeatedly, or when CPVC turns brittle.

We also install and replace pressure reducing valves, since some newer communities have high street pressure. For more on materials and process, see our main Peoria repiping page. For hidden leaks, see leak detection in Buckeye.

Pressure Regulators in Newer Communities

Some newer Buckeye communities have high street pressure, and a pressure reducing valve at the main line protects the home’s plumbing. When a PRV fails, household pressure rises, and fittings, supply lines and water heaters take the strain.

If your newer Buckeye home has had several leaks, banging pipes or a dripping water heater relief valve, the PRV may be the root cause, not the pipes. Replacing it is a much smaller job than a repipe and may be all you need.

Long Service Line Replacements

On larger Buckeye lots, replacing a service line can mean a long trench. We locate the line and any damage first, then decide whether a section repair or full replacement makes more sense. New PEX pipe handles long runs well and holds up in the ground.

Real Reviews for Buckeye Homeowners

Wow! I have owned several homes and have use trades extensively. Alex was the best experience I have had across the board, communications, speed, expertise.

I had a water main leak on a holiday weekend. Contacted Alex and he arrived within an hour. The pipe was deep and a lot of dirt and rocks had to be removed. Alex carefully removed the ornamental rocks, used a tarp to contain the dirt and when finished the yard looked like new.

Thank you Alex
