Whole House Repiping and Pipe Repair in Peoria, AZ
Second slab leak this year? Pinholes showing up in the ceiling? Old galvanized pipe dropping the pressure to a trickle? It may be time to stop patching and replace the pipes.
- Whole house repipes
- Slab leak reroutes
- Main water line replacement

When Patching Stops Making Sense
One leak is a repair. Three leaks in two years is a pattern. When the pipes in a house start failing one after another, every repair buys a little time while the next leak is already forming somewhere else.
A repipe replaces the water supply lines in the home with new pipe, usually run through the walls and attic instead of under the slab. It is a bigger job than a spot repair, but it ends the cycle of surprise leaks, drywall repair and insurance claims.
Alex & Bros Plumbing does repipes and pipe repairs for homes throughout Peoria. We plan the routing with you before we start, keep openings in the walls as small as practical, and test the new system before anything gets closed up.

Signs Your Home Needs a Repipe
- You have had more than one slab leak or pinhole leak
- Water pressure has dropped slowly over the years
- Rusty or discolored water, especially first thing in the morning
- Visible corrosion or green buildup on exposed copper fittings
- The home still has galvanized steel or polybutylene supply lines
- You are remodeling and walls are already open
Homes in older parts of Peoria are more likely to have galvanized or aging copper. Newer homes usually have PEX or CPVC, which fail differently but can still have problem fittings.

How a Repipe Works
- Walkthrough and plan. We look at the current piping and decide together where the new lines will run.
- Water off, protect the house. We cover floors and furniture near the work area.
- Open small access points. We open the walls only where needed to route the new pipe.
- Run new lines and fixture stops. Every fixture gets new supply lines and a new shutoff valve.
- Pressure test. The new system is tested before walls are closed.
- Walk you through it. You know where your shutoffs are and what was replaced.
Most homes are not without water for the whole job. We plan the work so you have water at night whenever possible.

PEX, Copper, or CPVC?
Each has its place, and the right choice depends on the house and the budget.
PEX is flexible, handles temperature swings well, needs fewer fittings, and is quicker to run through existing walls. It is the most common repipe material today.
Copper has a long track record and holds up well to heat. It costs more and takes longer to install. In some homes, the local water chemistry is also hard on it over time.
CPVC is rigid plastic that was common in homes built in the 1990s and 2000s. It can become brittle with age and heat.
We will explain what we recommend for your home and why.

What Customers Say About Our Pipe Work
I cant stress enough how exceptional his service was. I knew my situation wasnt easy by any means but it was WAY more that I described too. He replaced the pipes and made it look amazing also. And the price was cheap! I WILL absolutely call him again if something plumber related comes up.
Randy Rosko
Wow! I have owned several homes and have use trades extensively. Alex was the best experience I have had across the board, communications, speed, expertise.
I had a water main leak on a holiday weekend. Contacted Alex and he arrived within an hour. The pipe was deep and a lot of dirt and rocks had to be removed. Alex carefully removed the ornamental rocks, used a tarp to contain the dirt and when finished the yard looked like new.
Thank you Alex

Repiping FAQs
How long does a whole house repipe take?
It depends on the size of the home and how accessible the walls and attic are. Many single-story homes take a few days. We give you a realistic timeline before starting.
Will I have to move out during a repipe?
Usually not. We plan the work so water is back on most evenings, and the work areas are limited to where the pipe runs.
Who patches the drywall?
Ask us about patching when we plan the job. We will explain exactly what openings to expect and how they will be handled.
Is a repipe worth it compared to fixing leaks as they come?
If your pipes are failing in more than one place, usually yes. Each leak repair also comes with drywall, flooring or cleanup costs, and a repipe ends that cycle.
Do I need a permit for a repipe?
Larger plumbing jobs like repipes can require a permit depending on the city. We will let you know what applies to your project.
Tired of Chasing Leaks?
Tell us about your home and the leaks you have had. We will talk through whether a repair, reroute or repipe makes the most sense.
