Everyday plumbing repair
Plumbing Repair and Fixture Installation in Peoria, AZ
Toilets that run, faucets that drip, disposals that jam, and the new vanity sitting in the garage waiting for a plumber. These are quick jobs for us, and we price them as clearly as the big ones.
- Toilet repair and installation
- Faucets and fixtures
- Garbage disposals
- Shutoff valves and supply lines

Small Plumbing Problems Are Worth Fixing Early
A running toilet can waste a surprising amount of water every day. A dripping faucet adds up over a month. An angle stop that is seized open means you cannot shut off water to that fixture when you really need to. None of these are emergencies, but all of them get more expensive the longer they sit.
Alex & Bros Plumbing handles everyday plumbing repair in Peoria homes. Alex, the owner, does the work, and he will tell you whether something is worth repairing or replacing. If a new flapper fixes the toilet, that is what you will pay for.
Repairs and Installs We Do Every Week
Toilet repair and replacement
Running toilets, weak flushes, wobbly bases, leaks at the floor, and new toilet installs. Lauren K. had two new toilets installed and wrote about it in her review.
Faucet repair and installation
Kitchen, bathroom and tub faucets, including pull-down kitchen faucets and widespread bathroom sets.
Garbage disposal repair and replacement
Jammed, humming, leaking or dead disposals. Sometimes it just needs to be freed up. Sometimes it is time for a new one.
Shower and tub fixtures
Shower valves, cartridges, tub spouts and showerheads. New tub hookups during bathroom remodels.
Sinks and vanities
New sink and vanity hookups, P-traps, drain assemblies and supply lines.
Shutoff valves and supply lines
Angle stops and braided supply lines for toilets, sinks, dishwashers and ice makers.

Bathroom and Kitchen Plumbing Updates
If you are remodeling or updating, we can handle the plumbing side. That includes setting new toilets, connecting vanities and faucets, hooking up new tubs and showers, installing dishwashers and ice maker lines, and moving drain and water lines when a layout changes.
Tanya Klymenko had her kitchen sink moved to a different wall, which meant relocating the drain and water lines. For bigger changes like that, see our repiping and remodel plumbing page.
Bring your own fixture or let us know what you are looking for. We will tell you if anything about the fixture will be a problem before you buy it.
Hard Water and Your Fixtures
In Peoria, a lot of fixture repairs trace back to hard water. Minerals build up in faucet cartridges and make handles stiff. Toilet fill valves wear out faster. Showerheads clog. Aerators crust over and cut flow.
You can soak aerators and showerheads in vinegar to buy time, but if you are replacing fixture parts often, a water softener will do more to fix the root cause than any single repair.

Plumbing Repair FAQs
Why does my toilet keep running?
The most common causes are a worn flapper, a fill valve set too high, or a chain that is too long or too short. If water is trickling into the bowl or the tank refills on its own, that is usually the flapper.
Can I supply my own faucet or toilet?
Yes. We are happy to install fixtures you bought. We will let you know if we see anything about the fixture that could cause a problem, like missing parts or a size mismatch.
Is it worth repairing an old faucet?
Sometimes. If replacement parts are available and the body is in good shape, a cartridge or seal replacement is often enough. If parts are hard to find or the finish is failing, replacing the faucet is usually better value.
My garbage disposal hums but does not spin. Is it broken?
Not necessarily. It is often jammed. Turn off the power and do not put your hand in it. If a reset and freeing the jam does not work, the motor may be done.
